Cheating is Evil

           

As we know that in college, high school, and also elementary school cheating has become a common phenomenon in all types of an assignment. One kind of cheating that we often meet in the school institute is copying other's assignment as ours. Many of scholars done this even though they understand that it is wrong and could have terrible consequences if they are caught. Some people strictly say that cheating is wrong because take the ownership of someone else’s work is considered as stealing. Others argue that it's fair since it lead you to gain a success in the school. According to me, cheating is completely wrong and absolutely can’t be legalized for many reasons.

I argue that cheating is wrong for the reason that it can’t lead us for understanding the assignment. If you only copy someone else’s work in this way, you don’t learn anything from the course that the lecturer gives us. Actually, the main purpose of the assignment that is given by the lecturer is for deepening our understanding about the material. When you have an assignment in school, you are supposed to learn, to write, to create your own ideas and then express them in your own way. If you only copy and submit someone else's assignment, you don’t learn anything. The course will be useless because you don’t understand about how it is constructed and organized. For this reason, cheating should be avoided because it is not only stealing someone elses thought, but also it rapes you for getting the experience and understanding on the assignment.

            Others argue cheating is legal action because it can lead us to be successfull in school, which makes teachers and parents happy, and consequently makes life easier. Cheating is the efficient and effective way for those who want their performance in the school is better than another. By doing cheating you might be able to achieve a good track record in your school institution. In this case cheating is permissible action because it leads you to gain a success in the school.

Actually, if we want to be successful in the school we can’t use a cunning strategy like cheating for the reason that cheating is a kind form of stealing. Cheating is an intellectual theft that steals the ideas, words, creativity and effort from another individual. By cheating, it means that you don’t respect your own talent as a creative and innovative person. In fact, being successful in the school by tricky way like that is completely wrong. Successful in the school must be gained by our genuine creativity.

In summary cheating can’t be legalized because it is completely wrong for you, wrong for others, and morally wrong. It would be an act of very low integrity, and one of dishonesty. I consider that cheating is a sin, and an action that must be avoided and condemned.
